Russians’ trust in Putin has fallen to its lowest level of the entire war — FOM

The level of Russians’ trust in President Vladimir Putin dropped to 69%. This follows from the results of a survey by the Public Opinion Foundation (FOM), conducted from June 19 to 21 — shortly after the largest Ukrainian attack on Moscow.

Compared with the poll a week earlier, Putin’s trust rating fell by 5 percentage points — it had then stood at 74%.

The current rating — 69% — is the lowest level of trust in the president during the entire war. As The Bell recalls, even during mobilization in September 2022, after the retreat from Kherson in November 2022, and during Yevgeny Prigozhin’s mutiny in June 2023, this figure in FOM polls did not fall below 74–76%.

At the same time, in mid-May and late March 2026, Putin’s trust rating had already fallen to 71%.
