New prisoner exchange, 160 for 160.
A new prisoner exchange, 160 for 160.
In total, since the 1000-for-1000 exchange announced on May 9, 550 people on each side have been exchanged.
The quick exchange did not happen. The exchanges are moving with difficulty and slowly. But they are moving.
As before, more than half of the returned Russian prisoners were found by relatives through the "I Want to Find" project. The project provided relatives with confirmation of the fact of captivity, and this helped secure prisoner-of-war status. Reach out, search.
As for searching for Ukrainian prisoners in Russia. I accidentally came across the "Through the Wall" project. It has a bot where volunteers apparently help search for Ukrainian prisoners of war and civilians in Russian places of detention. I am also leaving the link, it may be useful.
