Mobile Fire Groups Made Up of Reservists Will Be Created in Leningrad Region. They Will Be Offered Three-Year Contracts

This was announced by the region’s governor, Alexander Drozdenko, after a meeting of the operational headquarters. He said this was necessary to “strengthen the protection of Leningrad skies from attacks by unmanned aerial vehicles.”

A decision has been made to create additional mobile fire groups, which will be stationed on the premises of enterprises and organizations that are critical infrastructure facilities, and will also be placed at the disposal of the 6th Guards Army.

Reservists are expected to be recruited to form the crews of the mobile fire groups:

Through the Leningrad regional military enlistment office, we will offer three-year contracts under the reservist scheme. At the same time, all reservists will be employed at enterprises and organizations of critical infrastructure to protect those enterprises.
