Mikhail Slobodyan, a veteran of the “SVO” awarded the Suvorov Medal, who fatally ran over two girls and severely injured another while under the influence of substances and drunk, was sentenced by a military court in Yekaterinburg to 17 years in a general-regime penal colony, writes Novaya Gazeta.

On the evening of October 27, 2025, 37-year-old Mikhail hit three girls with his car. Two of them, sisters aged nine and seven, died at the scene of the crash before the ambulance arrived. Their eleven-year-old friend was taken to intensive care in serious condition but survived.
