Volodymyr Zelensky said he had passed a peace proposal to “Putin’s friends.”

“Ukraine put forward proposals both to key partners, and Putin’s friends heard from us that a meeting is possible and that ending this war is possible,” Zelensky said. He called on Russia to “take a step toward peace.”

Who exactly Ukraine passed its proposal to is unclear. At the same time, it is known that in recent days Alexander Lukashenko met with representatives of both Kyiv and Moscow.
