Megamarket has exempted itself from liability to sellers in the event of drone attacks. Ozon, Wildberries, and Yandex Market did the same earlier

In the previous version of the offer dated April 10, it was stated that the marketplace is exempt from liability if the failure to fulfill its obligations resulted from force majeure circumstances. These included, for example, natural disasters, strikes, military actions, and robberies.

The new version of the offer dated July 24 adds:

any consequences of the use, impact, سقوط, launch, or activation of weapons, military equipment, aircraft (including unmanned aerial vehicles), means of destruction, ammunition and their parts, as well as shelling and explosions and other means of destruction.

Similar changes to contracts with sellers had previously been introduced by other major platforms as well: Ozon, Wildberries, and Yandex Market. At the same time, Wildberries changed its offer in early July, several days before the start of a series of strikes by Ukrainian drones on the marketplace’s warehouses in various regions of Russia.
