Since mid-April, Ukraine has struck Tuapse several times. The main targets were the local oil refinery and the seaport terminal.
Tuapse is facing an environmental catastrophe because of fires at oil facilities and a spill of petroleum products into the Tuapse River and the Black Sea.
The latest fire, caused by a Ukrainian drone attack on May 1, was extinguished the following day.
At the same time, the city is continuing to clean petroleum products out of the sea. Here is what it looks like.
