The old man signed a law restricting the use of AI-generated images of people in election campaigning.
According to the document, campaign materials may not use images and voices of people created with the help of AI, including fictional and deceased people. The exception is if the person gave written consent for it.
A candidate’s image and voice created with the help of AI may be freely used by the candidate themself and by the electoral association that nominated them.
