Security forces in Voronezh shut down the “Limonov Readings” and detained up to 40 people

Yesterday in Voronezh, police officers detained around 40 participants and guests of the “Limonov Readings,” the channel “National Human Rights Defense” reported.

All of those detained were taken to Police Department No. 4, where they were held for more than three hours. At that time, it was unknown what they were being charged with, and food parcels were not being accepted at the station.

Later, the detainees were released, but one of the Natsbols, Dmitry Konstantinov, was kept at the station — a protocol was drawn up against him for displaying banned symbols (Article 20.3 of the Administrative Code).

What served as the basis for the protocol has not been reported. The court hearing will take place tomorrow.
