Several people detained in Volgograd for filming the missile attack

At least three people were detained over filming yesterday's missile attack on Volgograd, according to a video with the detainees released by the regional Interior Ministry, which caught the attention of Govorit Ne Moskva.

In the video, one of the detainees says she posted footage of a flying missile in a work chat, while another says she sent the video to relatives. Another detainee says he posted a video of missiles and drones on his Telegram channel with 60-70 subscribers.

In the published video, security officers ask the detainees whether they had been promised payment for these videos. All three say they did not receive any money for it, and agree that they will no longer post videos of missiles and drones.

Local outlets Bloknot Volgograd and V1.Ru published the video with a note saying the detainees could face a "real prison term" for "high treason." At the same time, the posts do not say that criminal cases have been opened against the detainees.

🔵Yesterday, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked a military plant in Volgograd; as a result, one person was killed, and at least 11 others were injured.

🔵In February last year, filming and publishing drone attacks, air defense operations, and the aftermath of strikes were banned in Volgograd Region. Violations carry administrative liability, not criminal liability.
