Zelensky said oil refineries in Krasnodar Krai and Yaroslavl Oblast were struck

He was referring to the Slavyansk refinery in Krasnodar Krai, which, according to the Ukrainian president, was “hit,” as well as a refinery in Yaroslavl Oblast. Zelensky stressed that the two plants are located 300 and 700 kilometers from the front line, respectively.

Earlier, Krasnodar Krai Governor Veniamin Kondratyev said that a refinery in Slavyansk-on-Kuban and several houses were damaged as a result of an attack by Ukrainian drones. One person was killed. The governor did not report the extent of the damage.

Yaroslavl Oblast Governor Mikhail Evraev did not report a strike on the refinery. His channel contains warnings about a drone attack and the closure of outbound traffic from Yaroslavl toward Moscow. The restriction was later lifted.

We are continuing our operations that weaken Russia’s ability to wage this war. Every one of our long-range sanctions is a reduction in the resources working for the Russian war machine, and another step toward peace,

the president of Ukraine said.

The Strike Arrived Before The Confirmation

Zelensky reported refinery strikes; Yaroslavl reported only road closures.

The refinery news did not make it there.
