Putin’s special representative called “fake” a Financial Times report that tankers carrying Russian diesel to the US had changed course
Fake. The tankers heading to the US are continuing on their course.
Why so much fake news from the FT?
Kirill Dmitriev wrote on the social network X.
🔵The Financial Times previously reported that two tankers heading to the US under Trump and Putin’s “diesel deal” had changed course. According to the newspaper, the tanker Leruo changed its transmitted destination to “Brazil,” while the tanker Talisman entered the Mediterranean Sea and is transmitting its status as “awaiting orders.” A third tanker carrying Russian diesel fuel, owned by the Greek company Agioi Fanendes, appears to be continuing toward the US but is also transmitting its status as “awaiting orders.”
🔵Commenting on the report, Putin’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov said that “the shipments have been made” and that “all the diesel will find its buyers.”
