T Center, which helps trans people in Russia, has been declared an "extremist organization"

The decision was handed down by Moscow City Court judge Tatyana Mikhaleva in a case brought by the Justice Ministry.

T Center helps trans people in Russia; the organization has been operating since 2020. In 2023, it was added to the "foreign agents" register.

Recently, Russian courts have declared several LGBT initiatives "extremist" all at once: the Samara queer organization Irida, the LGBTQ group Vykhod, the LGBT Resource Center in Yekaterinburg, the media outlet Parni+, and the Moscow Community Center for LGBT+ Initiatives.

In 2023, the Russian Supreme Court declared the nonexistent "international LGBT public movement" an "extremist organization" and banned its activities in the country.
