Zelensky says online elections in Ukraine are possible
Zelensky said online elections in Ukraine were possible.
“If soldiers cannot vote during an election, that is unfair. It is 100% unfair. We can think about online voting. Perhaps it is feasible, but then parliament must look for and find solutions,” Zelensky said.
He added that he had proposed that the United States reach an agreement with Russia on a ceasefire for the winter and expressed readiness to hold elections if such an agreement were reached.
“Then people will have electricity and water. And during that time we can also hold elections, if all of you in the United States want to replace me,” Zelensky said.
Soldiers Must Wait for a Voting Solution
Zelensky raised remote voting for soldiers, leaving parliament to find a solution.
The right to vote is still awaiting a solution.
