Oof... it turns out that in March, the Pentagon stopped supplying Ukraine with weapons under the USAI program—long-term contracts signed years in advance under Biden.

Shrike found documentary evidence of this: a Pentagon inspector general's report showing that the value of weapons delivered stood at

9.2 billion in March and has not changed since—for eight months now.

In total, Ukraine has not received

4.3 billion in American weapons provided for under the USAI program.

To clarify right away: that

4.3 billion includes funds that had not yet been committed to contracts under Biden, but the point is that Trump stopped deliveries that had ALREADY been contracted.

I so wish there were 19 Republicans in the Senate right now who would at least support Hegseth's impeachment to start with, but... I understand there won't be.

In January, after the new Senate takes office, it will take 10–12 Republicans. And there's no guarantee even that many will be found.

P.S. It's remarkable that Ukraine has managed to effectively stabilize the front even without American USAI aid, relying solely on European aid and the American PURL program funded with European money.

The Contracts Outlasted the Arms Deliveries

Reports show no increase in weapons delivered to Ukraine under the US program since March.

Signing the contracts was the easy part.
