The Justice Ministry has added Dud, Akunin, Bykov, Volkov, Gudkov and Nevzorov to its register of Russians who have left the country and are subject to “temporary restrictive measures”

The list has been published on the ministry’s website. It also includes journalist Sergei Yezhov, human rights activist Sergei Davidis, Sergei Ukhov, the former head of Alexei Navalny’s Perm headquarters and creator of the Telegram channel “Perm 36.6,” and Ksenia Fadeyeva, the former coordinator of Navalny’s headquarters in Tomsk.

The register now contains 22 people, among them Mikhail Khodorkovsky, Michael Nacke, Yevgeny Chichvarkin and Yekaterina Schulmann.

🔵On August 4, Vladimir Putin signed a law imposing restrictions on Russians who have left the country and been convicted in absentia under politically motivated charges. The restrictions include bans on obtaining new international passports, drawing up powers of attorney and receiving electronic government services, disposing of property and registering vehicles, using electronic signatures, and accessing Russian banking apps and websites.
