NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte is demonstrating a political and military clarity rarely seen these days.

Rutte on Russia: This huge army was not built simply to be huge

Rutte stressed the need to prepare for a possible serious threat from Russia that could one day lead to the invocation of Article 5 of the North Atlantic Treaty.

“You can see now what he [Putin] is capable of. This is the Russian threat. It is not necessarily manifesting itself right now directly at our borders, because, again, very many of these soldiers are currently occupied in Ukraine. But we know that when this [war] ends… this huge army was not built simply to be a huge army,” Rutte warned.

Ninety-five percent of prominent Europeans are assiduously fooling themselves and the public, unwilling to admit that Russia poses no less a danger than Hitler’s Germany.

Now all the pieces of hell are clicking into place. Together they form a Transformer obsessed with occupations and genocides.

That is understandable.

Russia knows how to do nothing else and is capable of nothing else.

Its sole purpose is war, plunder and ruin. It is a product of its cannibalistic history and could not be anything else, however much it might wish to be.

It can claim even some place in the world order only by turning savage and raping its neighbors.

It has no other role in the spectacle of human civilization and never will again.

With his absurd war, Putin has demonstrated this concretely, clearly and convincingly.

A mortal struggle between humanity and the Russian Federation is inevitable anyway. A year sooner or later, a widespread bloody cataclysm will occur because of Russia.

Right now, Europe is playing the fool, fussing over absurd negotiations and missing a golden chance to cut this Gordian knot.
