Adam Kadyrov posted a video showing him driving into the oncoming lane and heavily speeding. Five months ago, he was involved in a crash in Chechnya
Adam Kadyrov filmed a video in which he violates several traffic rules at once; Verstka found the clip in one of the Instagram accounts linked to the son of the head of Chechnya.
The 13-second video was published the day before. In it, Adam Kadyrov, behind the wheel of a Range Rover, first shows the road from a first-person perspective, then switches to the front camera, shows himself and a passenger, and then switches back to the main camera.
The video begins at the moment when the car driven by Kadyrov is already traveling along the double solid line, and by the end of the clip the car almost completely pulls into the oncoming lane. Crossing a double solid line is a serious traffic violation that can result in the loss of a driver's license.
According to the speedometer reading, by the end of the video Kadyrov accelerates the car to 112 km/h while driving within a populated area. At the same time, a 50 km/h speed limit sign appears in the frame. That means these actions fall under Part 4 of Article 12.9 of Russia's Administrative Code, which by itself also provides for license suspension for a period of 4 to 6 months.
In addition, while driving, the son of the head of Chechnya uses a phone, which is also an administrative offense, punishable by a fine of 1,500 rubles.
🟪Less than six months ago, Adam Kadyrov was involved in a traffic accident in Grozny. According to data from the outlet Kavkaz.Realii, the son of the head of Chechnya himself was behind the wheel and was driving the first car in the motorcade. His car ran a red light at an intersection and crashed into another vehicle, Novaya Gazeta Europe reported. According to the outlet, the driver of the car that Kadyrov's motorcade hit died, and the crash itself was not recorded by law enforcement agencies.
