Europe will be ‘properly’ represented at US-Russia-Ukraine meeting in Abu Dhabi

French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot said this, Reuters reports. He said France had already confirmed its participation in the meeting.

“Europeans will be properly represented. France will come to Abu Dhabi to take part in these discussions. I cannot yet say who will represent France at this event, but France will certainly be there,” he added.

🔵Vladimir Putin previously confirmed that talks between the United States, Russia and Ukraine would take place in Abu Dhabi on November 10. Putin’s aide Vladimir Medinsky will lead the Russian negotiating team, which will also include Deputy Foreign Ministers Mikhail Galuzin and Sergei Ryabkov, and Igor Kostyukov and Yuri Zhigarlovsky, representatives of two directorates of the Russian Armed Forces’ General Staff. Putin’s spokesperson Dmitry Peskov told Interfax that Putin’s aide Yuri Ushakov was “overseeing” the upcoming talks; apparently, he will not be part of the negotiating team.

🔵Ukraine’s delegation at the Abu Dhabi talks will be led by Rustem Umerov, head of Ukraine’s Foreign Intelligence Service.
