So far, it has not been possible to fully ban visas for Russians because of the position of Southern European countries.

They brought it on themselves. Even if this specific initiative by the European Commission gets “snipped” or postponed, the world will still be closed to Russians. A day earlier or later makes no difference.

It is astonishingly slow for the civilized world to catch on.

But it is catching on.

Treating Russians like lepers is becoming the norm in the West and a test of civilization.

However you look at it, Russia supported the war, the repression of the innocent, fascism, the plundering of its neighbors, war crimes, and the genocide of Ukrainians.

There are every reason to consider Russians dangerous, deceitful, and aggressive savages.

It is no longer possible not to know this.

Inventing excuses is pointless.

Yes, some tiny “percentages” were against it, but that plays no role. The people who allowed those crimes are responsible for the crimes of their government.

Nor should one forget the pro-Russian “vatnik” element inside Europe itself. It adds plenty of fuel to the fire.

Making use of the freedoms here, the patriots who moved here preach hysterical Russian racism, savagery, and victory-mania.

One should not think this will go unnoticed.
