Authorities will stop publishing detailed statistics on fuel prices.

The government has made changes to the Federal Statistical Work Plan, after which Rosstat will no longer issue a bulletin with consumer price data on fuel. The Telegram channel "Lutset" drew attention to this.

This bulletin published gasoline and diesel prices by grade (AI-92, AI-95, AI-98, and diesel fuel), by region, and also for nearly 1,800 gas stations in 280 cities. These were the very data that made it possible to track fuel price dynamics and compare them across regions.

Previously, Rosstat published these statistics every Wednesday at 19:00 Moscow time.

UPD: Rosstat promised to publish fuel price data. In response to an inquiry from The Bell, the agency said that it had simply removed from the Federal Statistical Work Plan the items "that were published in various formats on the Rosstat website"
