Edgar Grigoryan is an Armenian from Crimea with the callsign “Zhirinovsky,” a political scientist by training, who worked as a trolleybus driver in St. Petersburg and kept 20 cats at home. He signed a contract with the Russian Ministry of Defense after falling into a debt trap, and to save his cats from being thrown out onto the street, he went to kill Ukrainians.
