Tuapse authorities publish list of shelters after four drone attacks
The Tuapse city administration has published a list of 186 shelters, the outlet 7x7 noted. The list consists mainly of basements, ground floors of buildings, and two non-residential premises.
The outlet writes that the shelters can accommodate 38,600 people. According to data from early January 2025, Tuapse has a population of 60,000. Only one shelter on the list is accessible for people with disabilities.
🔵From April 16 to May 1, drones attacked Tuapse’s sea terminal with its oil refinery four times. As a result of the attacks, oil products entered the Black Sea and the Tuapse River, and oily rain fell in the city.
Tuapse authorities had earlier promised to clean the beach by June 1. The city administration and the Emergency Situations Ministry banned female volunteers from cleaning up the oil products, explaining it as “concern for women’s reproductive health.”
