The Prosecutor General’s Office is seeking to seize assets worth more than 14 billion rubles from Rusagro founder Vadim Moshkovich

This follows from an anti-corruption lawsuit, writes Kommersant.

The assets in question are shares in the Rosagro group of companies belonging to former senator from Belgorod Region and company founder Vadim Moshkovich and his relatives, as well as cash funds.

🔹Supervisory authorities claim that in 2006–2014 Moshkovich used “political and administrative resources” to protect his entities and provide them with various preferences. He did not accurately declare the full composition of the enterprises under his control and did not disclose ownership of Cypriot offshore companies.

UPD: Moscow’s Khamovniki District Court has frozen businessman Vadim Moshkovich’s movable and immovable property, as well as 100% of the shares in a number of companies, including Rusagro, reports Interfax, citing one of the participants in the proceedings.

🔵Vadim Moshkovich and former Rusagro CEO Maxim Basov have been in custody since March 2025. They were charged with fraud and abuse of office.
