The EU is not preparing a full ban on tourist visas for Russians

The European Commission is not preparing a full ban on tourist visas for Russians, the agency’s press service said:

We have repeatedly stated that, for now, the European Commission is working on preparing targeted measures to adapt the visa regime to the security threats that may be posed by people who took part in the war against Ukraine.

These measures were proposed by the European Commission as part of the 21st sanctions package.

🔵Earlier, Izvestia, citing a “European source,” wrote that the European Commission was allegedly discussing a full ban on issuing tourist visas to Russians.
