The mother of the six-month-old baby killed in the drone attack in the Moscow region lost both legs. She still has not regained consciousness

As reported by Ostorozhno, Novosti, because of today's crash of a Ukrainian drone into a residential house in Yegoryevsk near Moscow, a family of four was affected. Living in the house were 29-year-old Yekaterina, her 35-year-old husband Oleg, and their two children, aged six years and six months.

At the moment of the strike, Yekaterina was sleeping with the younger child on the second floor, in the bedroom that, according to the outlet, took the main hit. After the impact, a fire broke out in the house, and the house itself was destroyed. The baby could not be found under the rubble for a long time, and on the way to the hospital he died from severe burns.

At the hospital, Yekaterina herself was diagnosed with an open traumatic brain injury and had both legs amputated; she still has not regained consciousness. Yekaterina's husband, Oleg, had a foot amputated, while the six-year-old child was almost unharmed. Family friends assume that at the moment of the strike he was either in the yard or his father shielded him with his body.
