A RIA Novosti source in the “Turkish government” said that Ankara “is actively working with interested parties and expects that, if there is political will, the negotiation process could be resumed in the very short term.”

The Russian state agency’s interlocutor said that Turkey “is maintaining contacts with all parties and is ready to contribute to creating the conditions for a return to negotiations and for advancing the peace process.”

According to the source, “after the negotiation process resumes at the delegation level,” a “summit at the highest level” could take place in Turkey.
