Russia has begun importing gasoline by sea from India, Reuters reports, citing industry sources.

According to the agency, at least 60,000 tons of gasoline have already been shipped to Russia. One of Reuters’ sources claims that in the near future the country plans to import about 400,000 tons of fuel per month from various states, including Belarus and Kazakhstan.

At the same time, supplies of Russian oil to India continue to grow. According to Reuters, imports reached a record level in June, while Bloomberg had earlier reported that exports of Russian oil last month rose to a record 4.13 million barrels per day.
