A monument to Alexey Navalny is being installed at Borisovskoye Cemetery
Work to install a monument to Alexey Navalny is being completed in Moscow. The memorial is expected to open in the near future, the outlet "Siren" writes.
While the monument was being installed, people came to the grave with flowers, many having traveled from other cities, "Mediazona" reports. Today, the politician's parents, Lyudmila and Anatoly, as well as close friends and supporters, came to Borisovskoye Cemetery.
Navalny was killed in the Polar Wolf penal colony on February 16, 2024. At the end of 2024, the politician's family held a competition to create the monument. Navalny's relatives selected three finalists from more than 270 projects. The winner was determined by a public vote.
