Russia has begun importing gasoline by sea from India, Reuters reports

At least 60,000 tons of gasoline have been shipped from India to Russia, Reuters reports citing an industry source.

Another agency source said that two tankers were sent to Russia, each carrying between 30,000 and 40,000 tons.

Another Reuters source claims that Russia plans to import a total of 400,000 tons of gasoline per month from various countries, including Belarus.

Against this backdrop, imports of Russian oil into India reached a record level in June, the agency writes, citing ship-tracking data. Earlier, Bloomberg reported that exports of Russian crude oil reached record levels: in June, shipment volumes rose to 4.13 million barrels per day.
