The Russian Defense Ministry announced a truce on May 8-9 in honor of Victory Day
"We expect the Ukrainian side to follow this example,"
the Defense Ministry said in a post on Telegram. The agency warned that if Ukraine attempts to disrupt the Victory Day celebrations, a retaliatory massive missile strike will be carried out on central Kyiv.
" In the event of attempts by the Kyiv regime to carry out its criminal plans aimed at disrupting the celebration of the 81st anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation will deliver a retaliatory, massive missile strike on the center of Kyiv"
The Truce Came With Instructions
The ministry announced a truce for May 8-9.
