In Russia, a campaign to recruit students for the war is in full swing: they are trying to send young people to the slaughter with both a “stick” and the false promise of a “carrot.”

According to information from the “Go by the Forest” project, recruitment activities have already been recorded at almost 60 universities, colleges, and technical schools in 26 cities and regions of the Russian Federation: agitation, advertising, and lectures about contract service. “Little green men” come to students, namely representatives of selection points, telling them about benefits and guarantees and luring them into the “Unmanned Systems Forces” for a year.

An instruction has also appeared online from the deputy minister of education and science of the Russian Federation to regional education ministries to hold more agitation lectures, meetings, and events in educational institutions to recruit students for a contract” as part of the Defense Ministry’s initiative to staff the Unmanned Systems Forces.”

Universities are required to monitor academic performance and attendance more strictly, and to carefully check the documents with which students explain missed classes. They are instructed to expel students on the slightest pretext and immediately send the data of those expelled to military enlistment offices. The leadership of the educational institution must also offer a student, before expulsion, the option of signing a contract in exchange for academic leave.

Let us recall that the Russian Defense Ministry has already managed to let slip itself that all promises of a “one-year contract” are lies. A student who joins the Russian army will not be able to leave it, just like hundreds of thousands of other men caught in a deadly trap. Instead of ending the senseless war and ensuring a decent future for its young people, the Russian leadership has decided to sacrifice them for the ruins of Ukrainian villages and new medals for scumbag generals.

If, in the 5th year of the “three-day” special operation, they have to rake migrants and students into the army to make up for losses, then obviously everything is going according to plan. Isn’t it?
