The attack on Ukrainian cities lasted almost all night: Kyiv was attacked by drones and missiles. Explosions were also reported in Pavlohrad, Kharkiv, and Sumy.
Russia's Defense Ministry said it had struck "military industry enterprises and fuel and energy facilities" in Kyiv and the surrounding region "in response to terrorist attacks by the Kyiv regime on civilian infrastructure on Russian territory".
The Retaliation Found Cities Again
After the overnight barrage, Ukrainian authorities reported 13 dead.
Civilian deaths were filed under facilities again.
