Volodymyr Zelenskyy:
Volodymyr Zelenskyy:
▪️As of today, there has been not a single official appeal to Ukraine regarding a cessation of hostilities, as is being claimed on Russian social media.
▪️We believe that human life is incomparably more valuable than the "celebration" of any anniversary. In this connection, we are declaring a silence regime starting at 0:00 on the night of May 5 to May 6. (That is, from tomorrow to the day after tomorrow, - note).
▪️In the time remaining until that moment, it is realistic to ensure the onset of silence. (That is, in a day. Entirely possible, - note). We will act symmetrically starting from the specified moment.
▪️The time has come for the Russian leadership to take real steps to end their war, if the Russian leadership indeed believes that it will not hold a parade in Moscow without Ukraine's goodwill.

A reply in kind. This should be interpreted as meaning that if a ceasefire does not begin on May 6-7, Ukraine does not consider itself obliged to cease fire on May 8-9.
The reply is equivalent in timing as well: Russia proposed its 48 hours, May 8-9; Ukraine is proposing its 48 hours, May 6-7. You want a 48-hour pause, okay, we want one too. Everything equal, everything fair. But we will not allow anyone to dictate terms to us. Especially through a unilateral announcement on social media.
Either learn to speak human language, or get a response, but nobody is going to dictate anything here.
A strong response. Truly strong, without any exaggeration.
A Parade Requests Silence by Ultimatum
No official ceasefire request came, so Ukraine offered its own 48 hours earlier.
A parade is not a command channel.
