According to his words, Putin’s statements about his special attitude toward Crimea do not correspond to reality.

“All his stories that he knows Crimea, loves it, that he needs it, are lies. Just like the east of our state, he knows it only from the reports of his officers,” Zelensky told journalists during a visit to Kyiv’s Darnytskyi district, where an apartment building was destroyed as a result of Russian shelling.

In recent months, Ukraine has been attacking oil facilities in Russian regions, including in Moscow. In addition, Ukrainian strikes have disrupted logistics in annexed Crimea.
