He said this on June 26 at a meeting with servicemen of the Navy.

"You know, I meet with some people who help you in the rear, who work somewhere, women weave nets, children knit mittens, and so on. People do this from the bottom of their hearts. Several times I heard amazing words: 'The special military operation will end, what will we do then?' That is, they have become so deeply involved in this, they do it with such heart and feel their involvement in a big, enormous cause that Russia needs, that they develop a feeling of anxiety: 'Will we be needed in the future the same way we are now?'" Vladimir Putin said.

He proposed that they "think together about how to preserve this for the future, without any doubt."
