Oil refinery in Tyumen halts crude processing after drone attack
Reuters reported this, citing two industry sources.
According to the agency’s sources, after the drone attack on Saturday, a diesel fuel hydrotreating unit and a combined high-octane motor gasoline production unit caught fire at the Tyumen refinery. The publication’s sources do not have information on when the plant will be able to resume operations.
Reuters estimates that the plant processes about six million tons of oil per year and produces roughly 0.5 million tons of gasoline and 2.8 million tons of diesel fuel.
