A suspended four-year sentence was requested for the head of Eksmo’s sales department in the case over the sale of "LGBT literature"

That the prosecutor requested a four-year suspended sentence for Artyom Vakhlyaev is reported by Mediazona.

He admitted guilt and testified against the "accomplices in the scheme" to sell books with LGBT content; the case is being considered under a special procedure.

Vakhlyaev, former Popcorn Books sales director Pavel Ivanov, as well as one of the executives of the publishing houses Popcorn Books and Individuum, Dmitry Protopopov, are charged under extremist articles.

Ivanov admitted guilt, reached an agreement with the investigation, and testified against other employees of Popcorn Books, Individuum, and Eksmo. He was sentenced to four years suspended.
