The Kremlin suddenly started whining that “the West is building an iron curtain around Russia.”
And what kind of curtain should it be?
A sponge cake one?
Naturally, the civilized world wants to wall itself off permanently from the cannibal state. From the eternal Gulag.
Before doing stupid things, one should think about their consequences.
The invasion of Ukraine was monstrous stupidity, a manifestation of senility.
But it is not only about the war itself.
The invasion “stripped” Russia bare, exposing its bedsores swarming with Cheka worms. It proved the baseness, deceitfulness, and absolute irrelevance of the Russian Federation in the modern world.
To disgrace itself and destroy all the myths about itself, Russia spent trillions of dollars and millions of lives.
All of it was understood and enthusiastically accepted by its people. The ideals, as well as the principles of life and governance in the Russian Federation, have not changed since 1937.
The West is building an “iron curtain” around Russia, the Foreign Ministry said
“Westerners, with an energy that could be put to better use, are erecting a new ‘iron curtain,’ trying to give irreversible character to the rupture in socio-economic, trade, transport, interpersonal, cultural, and historical ties that they provoked, ties that had been built in the region not for years, but for centuries.”

Complaining About Curtains After the Invasion
The Foreign Ministry complains of an iron curtain around Russia after broken ties.
The consequences were blamed on others again.
