Ex-head of Rosaviatsiya Neradko and his former deputy suspected of embezzling nearly one billion rubles during construction of a new runway at Domodedovo

RBC was told this by three sources familiar with the materials of the criminal case.

During questioning, Alexander Neradko and Konstantin Makhov refused to admit guilt in the alleged embezzlement of about 800 million rubles during construction of a new runway at Domodedovo Airport.

🔵Alexander Neradko held the post of head of Rosaviatsiya from 2009 to 2023; afterward, he worked as an adviser to the CEO of the State Transport Leasing Company.

🔵Neradko and Makhov had previously been placed under arrest by a decision of Moscow’s Khoroshevsky District Court. They were charged with committing fraud on an especially large scale. The defense lawyers for the accused intend to appeal the arrest.
