Rights advocates explained how to lift restrictions on rights linked to failing to appear in response to a draft summons

Since spring 2026, people liable for military service have been facing measures to ensure their appearance. From the moment any summons is issued, conscripts may be barred from leaving the country.

And 20 days after failing to appear, both conscripts and reservists may be barred from registering as sole proprietors or as “self-employed,” carrying out real estate transactions, driving vehicles, and taking out loans.

The rights project "Call to Conscience" wrote about when these restrictions can be appealed and how one should act in such a case.

In particular, the rights advocates suggest requesting an extract from the registry and filing a complaint.
