VCIOM Did Not Publish Putin’s Weekly Rating

In recent months, VCIOM has usually published trust ratings for politicians, assessments of Putin’s performance, and assessments of the government’s performance on Fridays at 10 a.m. Moscow time.

The last time the state-run center’s figures were published was on April 24: at that point, a decline in Putin’s rating had been recorded for the seventh consecutive week.

On the public holiday of May 1, VCIOM did not publish a new rating, and it was also not made public on May 4, the first working day after the “long” holiday break, The Moscow Times noted.

At the same time, on May 1 the Kremlin-linked Public Opinion Foundation published its rating. It also recorded a drop in assessments of Putin’s performance.
