A mayor in Yugra called the placement of a banner on a local school reading "Happy Victoy Day!" "sabotage"

A banner reading "Happy Victoy Day!" was hung on the building of the Children's School of Arts in the city of Pyt-Yakh in Yugra. City head Sergei Elishev called it "sabotage" and threatened the contractor with the FSB, the outlet Podyom writes.

According to him, the contractor was supposed to coordinate "all stages of creating and placing the banners," but the entrepreneur "started acting independently."

Elishev said that a banner "with the correct letter" appeared "within a couple of hours," and the contractor was forced to apologize on social media.

We are conducting an investigation, up to the point that we will send it to the FSB directorate and let them sort it out. Because when we prescribe the work step by step and one contractor understood it while the other did not, then let law enforcement deal with it,

the outlet quotes the mayor as saying.

Last year, a poster with the words "Great victoy!" was put up in Ruza near Moscow.
