Alexander Neradko has been arrested for two months

According to Kommersant, the fraud case in which Neradko is accused is connected to the theft of 800 million rubles during the construction of a new runway at Domodedovo Airport.

In the same case, the court sent Neradko’s former deputy at Rosaviatsia, Konstantin Makhov, to pretrial detention. The publication Agentstvo notes that after his resignation, Makhov held executive positions in companies linked to Arkady Rotenberg, one of Vladimir Putin’s closest associates. Among those companies were structures connected to the purchase of assets belonging to St. Petersburg businessman Ilya Traber, who was arrested in June.
