Fuel prices in the “DNR” and “LNR” rose by up to 70% in two weeks

Prices for various types of fuel in the Russian-occupied parts of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions rose by 25% to 70% over two weeks, Verstka found after analyzing data from the Benzup portal from June 18 to July 2.

Thus, in the “DNR,” two weeks ago one liter of diesel cost 93.38 rubles per liter, and by July 2 it was already 157.43 rubles (an increase of 68.6%). Prices for 92-octane gasoline rose from 85.54 rubles to 119.19 rubles (39.3%), and for 95-octane gasoline from 93.37 to 131.96 rubles (41.3%).

In the “LNR,” diesel cost 85.67 rubles on June 18, and by July 2 it was 120.15 rubles (an increase of 40.2%). 92-octane gasoline went up from 79.8 rubles to 99.25 (24.4%), while 95-octane was available at 88.44 rubles and now costs 110.38 rubles (24.8%).

Annexed Crimea was close to these territories in terms of the trend, where since June 21 fuel has been sold only to government agencies.

After Crimea, Dagestan, Chechnya, Tuva, and the Ivanovo, Vladimir, Kostroma, Tula, Samara, Tambov, and Tyumen regions also lead in the pace of price growth for various types of fuel. Various fuel types in these regions jumped by 10-24%.

At the same time, there are territories with near-zero price increases. For example, in Moscow prices rose by 0.8% for 92-octane gasoline, 0.6% for 95-octane, and 0.1% for diesel.
