FSB accuses Durov of aiding terrorism — Telegram founder declared internationally wanted

The FSB has accused Durov of aiding terrorism — the founder of Telegram has been declared internationally wanted.

The reason for the charges was the Telegram bot “Daivinchik/Leo” — the security service claims that Ukrainians used it to recruit Russians into sabotage activity.

“It has been established that Ukrainian special services used the Telegram bot ‘Daivinchik/Leo’ to recruit Russians into sabotage activity through deception and psychological pressure. Since July 2025, 46 people aged 12 to 22 have been detained in various regions of Russia on suspicion of attacks on security officers, arson attacks on infrastructure sites, and transferring money through crypto exchangers,” the FSB said.

It is уточняется that employees of the Ukrainian special services posed as girls and made contact with young Russian men. Then fake Russian cops contacted the zoomers, intimidated them with criminal prosecution, and pushed them toward arson attacks and assaults.

According to the FSB, Telegram’s administration did not remove channels, chats, and bots used by უკრაინის special services to prepare terrorist attacks.
