About the recruitment of foreigners on Russian territory

Yulia Sabit, the wife of a Bangladeshi citizen, recorded a video about what the scheme for recruiting foreigners in Russia looks like in practice. We have been writing a lot about this since 2025. The scheme is very simple: recruiters find foreigners who do not speak Russian and deceive them by offering ordinary work. As a rule, they promise "work in the interests of the Russian Ministry of Defense" - assembling drones, guarding warehouses, or transporting cargo. They separately emphasize that the work will be in the rear and that they will not be sent to war.

The recruiter does not care what to promise a potential soldier: he gets paid for every person who signs a contract. After that, the recruited people become a problem for the Russian Ministry of Defense.

"On July 8 he signed a contract with the Ministry of Defense. Since then, he has not been in touch."
