The FSB reported that it detained a resident of Anapa who, the agency claims, was gathering information on military and energy facilities in Krasnodar Krai on behalf of the Ukrainian special services.
The detainee cooperated with the Security Service of Ukraine, the FSB claims. As part of one of the assignments, he was supposed to obtain the schedule of trips by government officials and foreign delegations to restricted facilities in Sochi, as well as data on the location of air defense facilities.
Which officials the detainee was supposed to monitor is not specified. One of Putin's residences, Bocharov Ruchey, is located in Sochi.
