Russian House in Chisinau ceases operations

This was reported by the head of Rossotrudnichestvo, Igor Chaika. He noted that a representative of the Russian House will work as part of the Russian embassy in Moldova.

The Russian House in Moldova held the “Immortal Regiment,” “St. George Ribbon,” and “Victory Dictation” campaigns, as well as concerts, film screenings, and other events, Rossotrudnichestvo said.

🔵At the end of 2025, Moldova’s Foreign Ministry did not extend for a new five-year term the intergovernmental agreement with Russia on the establishment and operation of cultural centers, which had been signed in 1998.

🔵This happened after the parliamentary elections, in interference with which Moldova’s authorities had accused Russia, as well as mutual expulsions of diplomats.
