Zelensky: "If Kostiantynivka is now under Russian control, then Putin will have no problem meeting me there"


This was stated in a statement by the Ukrainian president on his social media.


"Now, on the eve of America's Independence Day, Putin has decided to lie to the world and to the president of America about the situation at the front: he claims that Russia has supposedly captured Kostiantynivka in Donbas. Of course, this is not true — it is just another Russian lie to get at least some kind of news story going... If Kostiantynivka is now under Russian control, then Putin probably will have no problem meeting me there and finding diplomatic solutions to finally end the war. But he still will not cross the front line: the truth differs greatly from Putin's words," Volodymyr Zelensky noted.
